Short answer: most notices mean Stripe needs a detail or is still checking, and tips keep arriving in the meantime. The app tells you exactly what, if anything, you need to do.
The notices
- Information needed: tips are switched off until you give Stripe the details it asks for. Open the notice to finish.
- Something needed by a date: tips still arrive, but Stripe needs a detail by the date shown, or tips will pause.
- Under review: Stripe is checking your account. Tips still arrive. Payouts may be held until the check is finished. Nothing is needed from you.
- Payouts on hold: your bank account is linked and tips still reach your balance, but payouts are stopped for now. The notice says why.
- Bank account needed: tips arrive, but there is no bank account to pay them into. Add one in the app.
- Paused: the account has been paused by TipIns, or has been inactive for a long time. Contact support.
- Closed: the account was closed by Stripe or by TipIns. Only an appeal can reopen it. Contact support.

Common questions
My account is under review. Can I still get tips?
Yes. Tips still arrive while Stripe checks your account. Payouts may be held until the check is finished.
Why are my payouts on hold?
The notice in the app gives the reason. Usually Stripe needs a detail confirmed; tips still reach your balance in the meantime.
